Sometimes only a decent bed will do! This year for July & August we're installing a Tourareg tent in the Watermeadow, with a lovely view of the lake so you can enjoy all the bird and bat life.

Kingfisher Camp

Ready pitched tent

 

Take it a little bit easy by turning up to this ready pitched large rectangular canvas tent located in the Water Meadow, with a lovely view of the lake.

 

It's 4m x5m in size with great head height. There's a double bed, and two single beds with mattresses and mattress protectors supplied.  Outside there's a picnic bench and a fire pit with grill & tripod for you to cook on.

 

Please bring bedding and towels, and any cooking / eating equipment. Served by the communal compost toilets, hot showers and wash up stations - all within easy reach of Kingfisher Camp. You can get your vehicle close to the pitch.

Pitch price

  • £60 for 2 adults (minimum 2 night stay)

  • Additional children or adults up to 4 in total

    • Adults £15.00

    • Child £7.50 (5 - 17 years) 

    • Infants free (Under 5)

  • Dogs free (max 2 per pitch)​

Extras

  • £12 fee to join the Greener Camping Club (unless already a member) per pitch booked

  • Extra car £5 per night (1 vehicle already included in your pitch)  Note we have limited availability for extra cars.

  • Buckets of seasoned logs and local charcoal available to buy online or onsite.

Booking Notes

  • Available from 5th July to 15 September

  • Arrivals between 2pm & 8pm. Departures 11am

  • Quiet time from 10pm, no music permitted at all times. No groups

  • Minimum 2 night stay (except bank holidays)

  • There's a double bed, and two single beds with mattress protectors. Bring your own bedding

  • There's a fire pit with grill & tripod for you to cook on, please supply your own crockery and any other cooking gear you need

  • Max 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and should not be allowed on beds.

  • Please note the images shown here are a good representation  but are not exact, new images will be posted once we launch. There won't be carpet or fairy lights.
